At Watercolor Artists of Sacramento Horizons, we are a vibrant community of artists dedicated to celebrating and advancing the art of watercolor painting. WASH brings together artists of all experience levels who share a common love for the fluid beauty and expressive potential of the watercolor medium.

Our mission is threefold:

To improve, promote, and provide art-focused educational opportunities to our local community
To share the joy and accessibility of watercolor with the public
To foster the creative growth and development of our members

Through exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, and networking events, WASH offers members and visitors alike a place to learn, connect, and be inspired. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just beginning your artistic journey, you’ll find a welcoming environment that nurtures creativity and personal expression.

We hold monthly general membership meetings which include an art demonstration by local artists, engaging discussions about painting, and a showcase of members’ work as we select our Artist of the Month who is featured on our website.
